.

Some people believe the tax structure before 1913 was what the Founding Fathers of the United States Intended. Taxes where paid as tariffs on imports and business transactions. The tax burden was not on the working people; it was on business activity. This is not anti capitalism–it is honest capitalism.

If lobbyists have lobbied to shift the tax burden from the rich to the poor, is this not fascism?

Many people are putting in 60 hour work weeks to attempt to pay their bills. There are two issues: inflation and the the desire to own things we can’t afford and don’t need. Some interesting perspectives on The Inflation Tax can be found at inflationtax.blogspot.com

People don’t appear to be noticing both parents work now days, but are having a harder time getting by. I believe women working has masked just how bad inflation actually is. My grandfather was a construction worker, but he managed to provide a nice house for his wife and children. She didn’t need to or have to work. I believe a woman can do anything a man can do, but are woman being spread too thin?

One of the most important issues people are missing is “spending time with your family is a family value.” I believe no organization does more to combat this issue than TimeDay.org I believe TimeDay.org does more to improve family life than Focus on the Family. For more information read John de Graaf’s “Take Back Your Time“
